Salamis Beach in North Cyprus

Salamis beach fringes the entire site of the most famous and important city of Cyprus. A reef encloses a small lagoon, extended all the way past a cape before subsiding. Snorkelling here is a must; as not only will you be able to see a variety of fish in the clear blue water but also long courses of man-made stone which was, prior to earthquake activity, the jetty of the ancient port which now lies on the sea bed.
